LaBorde Beefalo Farms was started when Lloyd and Janice LaBorde purchased a spot of land in Central Minnesota. Lloyd spent many years working in Alaska away from his family and the farm, while Janice and the kids spent much of their time doing the farm work through those years… field work, building fences, many hours with cattle. Through all of that, LaBorde Beefalo Farms was created. Since 2008, LaBorde Beefalo Farms has been striving to produce quality beefalo that can increase the genetic quality of the breed, and provide a quality meat product to our customers across the state of Minnesota and beyond!

LaBorde Beefalo farms is currently being operated by Lloyd, one of Lloyd and Janice’s son, Don, and two grandchildren Dawson and Nathan.
